The Patriots beat the Jaguars in a very hostile environment on Sunday.  Tom Brady had a great game against a very good Jacksonville defense.  Brady completed 28 of 39 passes for 249 yards and a TD.  He also carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards (3.1 ypc).  Laurence Maroney played for the first time in a few weeks and carried the ball 7 times for 48 yards (6.9 ypc) and a TD.  Corey Dillon got the ball 10 times and rushed for 30 yards (3.0 ypc) and a TD.  Rookie TE David Thomas led the receivers for the Patriots with 5 catches for 83 yards and a TD.  Brady was spreading the ball around real well against the Jags and kept them off-balance all day long.  Troy Brown caught 4 passes for 44 yards.  Daniel Graham (3 rec, 44 yards), Jabar Gaffney (3 rec, 26 yards) and Reche Caldwell (4 rec, 15 yards) all helped out in the passing game for the Pats.

The Patriots defense didn’t play well at all against the Jaguars.  The Jags ran the ball 22 times for 144 yards (6.5 ypc).  They also completed 17 of 23 passes for 195 net yards thru the air.

The Patriots improved to 11-4 on the season with this win.
