New England Patriots 38, Buffalo Bills 7

The Patriots beat the hell out of the poor Bills yesterday.  Tom Brady had another outstanding football game as he completed 23 of 29 passes for 311 yards with 4 TD passes and 0 interceptions.  RB Laurence Maroney had an excellent game with 19 carries for 103 yards (5.4 ypc).  Sammy Morris also had another solid game with 12 carries for 46 yards (3.8 ypc) with a TD run.  Kevin Faulk even got in on the beating as he carried the ball 2 times for 14 yards (7.0 ypc) and he also caught 5 passes for 38 yards (7.6 avg).  Randy Moss was outstanding again as he caught 5 passes for 115 yards (23.0 avg) with 2 more TD grabs.  Wes Welker also had another solid game as he caught 6 passes for 69 yards (11.5 avg) and he also returned 3 punts for 72 yards (24.0 avg).  Ben Watson (2 rec, 17 yards, TD) and Jabar Gaffney (2 rec, 15 yards, TD) also pitched in on Sunday.  The Patriots finished up with 177 yards rushing on 38 carries (4.7 ypc) and they also completed 23 of 29 passes for 308 yards.

The Patriots defense was excellent against the Bills.  Adalius Thomas led the way for the Patriots with 9 tackles.  They held the Bills to 110 yards rushing on 27 carries (4.1 ypc) and they completed 11 of 21 passes for 83 yards.
