Tom Brady is having one of the greatest seasons in NFL History for the New England Patriots

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page by admin on Thursday 29 November 2007 at 7:37 pm

Tom Brady never had a corps of receivers that he does right now and his offensve line doesn’t let anyone get near him as he has only been sacked 13 times this season.  Brady has completed 284 of 392 (72.4%) passes for 3,439 yards with 39 TD passes and only 4 interceptions (127.9 QB Rating) so far this season.  Brady is more intent on winning every game than setting NFL records but he has the All-Time TD record for a season in sight as Peyton Manning still holds the record of 49 TD passes in a season and he also had a 121.1 QB Rating that season.  With Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte’ Stallworth, Ben Watson and Jabar Gaffney to throw to I have a feeling that the records are going to fall.

Blogged under Big Pats News,Bloglockers,Front Page,Injury Reports by admin on Friday 2 November 2007 at 4:15 pm

The Patriots have placed Sammy Morris on Injured Reserve with a chest injury.  This will hurt the Patriots a little bit as Morris was really running well this season.  Morris played in 6 games (2 starts) this season for the Patriots and he rushed for 384 yards on 85 carries (4.5 ypc) with 3 TD runs.  He also caught 6 passes for 35 yards (5.8 avg).  Kevin Faulk will take over as the #2 RB on the Patriots and he should get a lot of work.  Faulk has rushed for 156 yards on 33 carries (4.7 ypc) so far this season and he also has caught 22 passes for 190 yards (8.6 avg).  Heath Evans will also get a bump in carries because of the injury to Morris.  Evans has carried the ball 19 times for 58 yards (3.1 ypc) so far this season and he also has caught 1 pass for 29 yards.
