The Patriots have released outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain.  Banta-Cain had 13 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 tackle for a loss and he defensed 1 pass this season.  This was a odd move for the Patriots as Banta-Cain played pretty decent for them this season.  He likely won’t be out of work too long.

UPDATE:  The Patriots have re-signed Tully Banta-Cain after one day.  He will likely be back to his old job at OLB/DE.
