The Patriots have released 37-year old WR Joey Galloway and 26-year old TE Michael Matthews.  Galloway played in 3 games for the Patriots this season and he caught 7 passes for 67 yards (9.6 avg).  He got passed over on the depth chart by younger players so they won’t miss him as he appears to be near the end of his career.  Michael Matthews played in 4 games for the Patriots this season but he didn’t catch any passes.  The Patriots won’t miss him either.
