Stephen Neal decides to retire from the New England Patriots
The Patriots have placed 34-year old offensive guard Stephen Neal on the reserve/restricted list as he has decided to hang up the cleats. Neal played in 8 games (all starts) for the Patriots last season. In 10 years with the Patriots, Neal played in 86 games (81 starts) so he wasn’t the most dependable offensive linemen around. So while Neal was a very good guard, the Patriots should be able to replace him.
