The Patriots nipped the Ravens yesterday due to a Billy Cundiff missed field goal (32 yards) with 11 seconds left in the game.  Tom Brady certainly didn’t play too well in this game for the Patriots.  Brady completed 22 of 36 passes for 239 yards with 0 TD passes and 2 INTs.  He also carried the ball 6 times for 2 yards (0.3 ypc) with 1 TD run yesterday.  BenJarvus Green-Ellis led the way on the ground for the Patriots yesterday with 15 carries for 68 yards (4.5 ypc) with 1 TD run.  TE Rob Gronkowski (5 rec, 87 yards), Aaron Hernandez (7 rec, 66 yards) and Wes Welker (6 rec, 53 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Patriots.  The Patriots finished up with 96 yards rushing on 31 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 36 passes (61.1%) for 234 yards as they had possession of the ball for 26:27.

The defense gave up a lot of yards yesterday, but they still played good enough to win.  LB Brandon Spikes (9 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception), safety James Ihedigbo (8 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit) and LB Jared Mayo (8 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 QB hit) led the way for the Patriots on D in this game.  NT Vince Wilfork pitched in with 6 tackles, 1 sack, 3 tackles for a loss and 1 QB hit) yesterday.  The Ravens finished up with 116 yards rushing on 31 carries (3.7 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 36 passes (61.1%) for 282 yards.  The Patriots will have revenge on their minds in the Super Bowl as the Giants ruined their attempt at a perfect season the last time they matched up in the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots 45, Denver Broncos 10

The Patriots totally destroyed the Broncos last night in Foxboro.  Tom Brady was awesome as usual as he completed 26 of 34 passes for 363 yards with 6 TD passes and 1 INT.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 8 yards (2.7 ypc) in this game.  BenJarvus Green-Elllis (13 carries for 28 yards), Danny Woodhead (4 carries for 25 yards) and Stevan Ridley (4 rec, 21 yards) pitched in for the Patriots on the ground in this game.  TEs Rob Gronkowski (10 rec, 145 yards and 3 TD grabs) and Aaron Hernandez (4 rec, 55 yards and a TD and 5 carries for 61 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Patriots.  WRs Deion Branch (3 rec, 83 yards, TD) and Wes Welker (6 rec, 55 yards, TD) also had solid games for the Patriots last night.  The Patriots finished up with 146 yards rushing on 30 carries (4.9 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 34 passes (76.5%) for 363 yards despite only having possession of the ball for 26:37.

The defense was outstanding for the Patriots last night.  CB Kyle Arrington (10 tackles and 1 pass defensed) and LB Jared Mayo (9 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss) led the way for the Patriots last night on D.  LBs Brandon Spikes (6 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for a loss, 2 QB hits, 1 pass defensed and a fumble recovery) and Rob Ninkovich (5 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1.5 sacks, 1 tackle for a loss and 2 QB hits) also had rock solid games for the Patriots last night.  DT Vince Wilfork pitched in with 3 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 tackle for a loss and 2 QB hits last night.  The Broncos finished up with 144 yards on 40 carries (3.6 ypc) and they also completed 9 of 26 passes (34.6%) for 108 yards in this game.  The Patriots will host the winner of the Texans/Ravens game tomorrow next weekend for the AFC Championship.

The Bills jumped out to a 21-0 lead before the Patriots got serious yesterday.  Tom Brady completed 23 of 35 passes for 338 yards with 3 TD passes and 1 INT.  Brian Hoyer completed his only pass attempt and it was good for 22 yards.  Stevan Ridley led the way on the ground with 81 yards rushing on 15 carries (5.4 ypc).  BenJarvus Green-Ellis pitched in with 7 carries for 22 yards (3.1 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 1 pass for 53 yards.  TEs Aaron Hernandez (7 rec, 138 yards with 1 TD grab and 2 carries for 26 yards) and Rob Gronkowski (8 rec, 108 yards, 2 TD grabs) led the way for the Patriots in the passing game.  Wes Welker pitched in with 6 grabs for 51 yards in this game.  The Patriots finished up with 138 yards rushing on 29 carries (4.8 ypc) and they also completed 24 of 36 passes (66.7%) for 342 yards as they had possession of the ball for 29:38.

The Patriots played solid D after the first quarter yesterday.  CB Antwaun Molden (7 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception), LB Jared Mayo (7 tackles and 1 pass defensed), DE Mark Anderson (7 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 QB hit and 2 tackles for a loss) and safety Patrick Chung (7 tackles and 1 QB hit) led the way for the Patriots on D.  CBs Devin McCourty (interception) and Sterling Moore (2 interceptions, one returned 21 yards for a TD) also had huge plays in this game for the Patriots.  The Bills finished up with 106 yards rushing on 20 carries (5.3 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 46 passes (63%) for 296 yards in this game.  The Patriots finish the 2011 season with a 13-3 record and the #1 seed in the AFC Playoffs.

The Patriots were down 17-0 at the half before they woke up and surged to a tough victory last Saturday.  Tom Brady completed 27 of 46 passes for 304 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 9 times for 17 yards (1.9 ypc) with 2 TD runs in this game.  Stevan Ridley led the way for the Patriots in this game with 64 yards rushing on 13 carries (4.9 ypc).  Danny Woodhead pitched in with 4 carries for 20 yards (5.0 ypc) in this game.  WR Wes Welker (12 catches for 138 yards) and TE Rob Gronkowski (7 rec, 78 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Fins.  WR Deion Branch (3 rec, 37 yards, TD) and TE Aaron Hernandez (4 rec, 36 yards) also pitched in for the Patriots in this game.  The Patriots finished up with 119 yards rushing on 31 carries (3.8 ypc) and they also completed 27 of 46 passes (58.7%) for 281 yards as they had possession of the ball for 30:56.

The defense played really well in the second half for the Patriots in this game.  LB Jared Mayo (13 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 tackle for a loss and 2 QB hits) and CB Devin McCourty (9 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 4 passes defensed and 1 interception) led the way for the Patriots on D in this game.  Safety James Ihedigbo (7 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss) and LB Rob Ninkovich (6 tackles and 1 sack) also had solid games for the Patriots.  The Dolphins finished up with 115 yards rushing on 27 carries (4.3 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 33 passes (51.5%) for 266 yards.  The Patriots are now 12-3 on the season.

The Patriots were going to give Tim Tebow a chance to beat them in the 4th quarter today.  The Patriots led 34-16 heading into the 4th quarter and they never really were threatened by the Broncos the rest of the way.  Tom Brady completed 23 of 34 passes for 320 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 6 times for 2 yards (0.3 ypc) with 1 TD run.  Stevan Ridley led the way on the ground for the Patriots in this game with 65 yards rushing on 11 carries (5.9 ypc).  Danny Woodhead was also effective with 40 yards rushing on 7 carries (5.7 ypc) with 1 TD run.  BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a rough time today with 10 carries for 17 yards (1.7 ypc) with a TD run and he also caught 2 passes for 32 yards.  TE Aaron Hernandez led the way through the air for the Patriots in this game with 129 yards receiving on 9 catches (14.3 avg) with 1 TD grab.  He also carried the ball 1 time for 16 yards yesterday.  TE Rob Gronkowski (4 rec, 53 yards), WR Wes Welker (4 rec, 41 yards) and Chad Ocho Cinco (1 rec, 33 yards, TD) also pitched in for the Patriots in the passing game.  The Patriots finished up with 141 yards rushing on 36 carries (3.9 ypc) and they also completed 23 of 34 passes (67.6%) for 310 yards as they had possession of the ball for 33:41.

The defense was terrible against the run, but pretty good against the pass in Denver yesterday.  LB Jared Mayo (8 tackles), safety James Ihedigbo (6 tackles) and safety Sergio Brown (6 tackles) led the way for the Patriots on D in this game.  LB Rob Ninkovich (4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 QB hit and 1 fumble recovery), DE Mark Anderson (3 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for a loss, 2 QB hits and 1 fumble recovery) and LB Dane Fletcher (fumble recovery) also made big plays for the Patriots in this game.  The Broncos finished up with 252 yards rushing on 31 carries (8.1 ypc) and they also completed 11 of 23 passes (47.8%) for 141 yards.  The Patriots are now 11-3 on the year.

New England Patriots 34, Washington Redskins 27

The New England Patriots won because of Tom Brady and his offense yesterday, once again!  Tom Brady was very solid in this game as he completed 22 of 37 passes for 357 yards with 3 TD passes and 1 INT.  Danny Woodhead led the way on the Patriots in this running game with 41 yards on 8 carries (5.1 ypc).  BenJarvus Green-Ellis pitched in with 19 yards rushing on 5 carries (3.8 ypc) in this game.  TE Rob Gronkowski was awesome yesterday as he caught 6 passes for 160 yards (26.7 avg) with 2 TD grabs.  WR Wes Welker (7 rec, 86 yards, TD) and TE Aaron Hernandez (5 rec, 84 yards) also had solid games for the Patriots yesterday.  The Patriots finished up with 79 yards rushing on 20 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 37 passes (59.5%) for 352 yards as they had possession of the ball for only 23:51.

The defense was awful, once again for the Patriots yesterday.  LB Jared Mayo led the way for the Patriots yesterday with 9 tackles, 1 pass defensed, 1 QB hit and 1 interception.  CB Devin McCourty (8 tackles, 3 passes defensed), LB Dane Fletcher (8 tackles and 1 QB hit) and DE Andre Carter (5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and 3 QB hits) also had solid games for the Patriots.  DT Vince Wilfork recovered a Rex Grossman fumble (caused by Andre Carter) for a TD.  The Redskins finished up with 170 yards rushing on 34 carries (5.0 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 33 passes (60.6%) for 293 yards.  The Patriots are now 10-3 on the year.

New England Patriots 31, Indianapolis Colts 24

The New England Patriots raced out to a 31-3 lead in this game, before calling off the dogs.  But, the Colts gave them a scare late in the game by scoring 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to make it interesting.  Tom Brady was solid as usual as he completed 29 of 38 passes for 289 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 INTs.  Stevan Ridley led the way on the ground for the Patriots in this game with 33 yards rushing on 8 carries (4.1 ypc).  BenJarvus Green-Ellis (6 carries, 14 yards, TD) and Danny Woodhead (4 carries for 12 yards) also pitched in a little in the running game for the Patriots.  WR Wes Welker led the way in the passing game yesterday for the Patriots with 11 catches for 110 yards (10.0 avg).  TE Rob Gronkowski was outstanding in this game for the Patriots as he caught 5 passes for 64 yards (12.8 avg) with 2 TD grabs.  He also carried the ball 1 time for a 2-yard TD!  TE Aaron Hernandez pitched in with 7 grabs for 43 yards in this game.  The Patriots finished up with 73 yards rushing on 24 carries (3.0 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 38 passes (76,3%) for 289 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 24:21.

The defense was outstanding for three quarters, but awful in the 4th.  DT Vince Wilfork (10 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit) and CB Nate Jones (9 tackles and 1 pass defensed) led the way for the Patriots on D in this game.  WR/S Matthew Slater (7 tackles), LB Niko Koutouvides (7 tackles), LB Jared Mayo (7 tackles, 2 passes defensed, 2 QB hits and a interception) and CB Kyle Arrington (5 tackles and 1 fumble recovery) also pitched in for the D yesterday.  The Colts finished up with 99 yards rushing on 31 carries (3.2 ypc) and they also completed 30 of 37 passes (81.1%) for 338 yards in this game.  The Patriots are now 9-3 on the year.

The Patriots jumped all over the Eagles today and they never looked back.  Tom Brady was on his game as he completed 24 of 34 passes for 361 yards with 3 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 5 times for 28 yards (5.6 ypc) today.  BenJarvus Green-Ellis led the way on the ground for the Patriots today with 14 carries for 44 yards (3.1 ypc) with 2 TD runs in this game.  WRs Deion Branch (6 rec, 125 yards) and Wes Welker (8 rec, 115 yards, 2 TD grabs) led the way for the Patriots in the passing game today.  TEs Aaron Hernandez (6 rec, 62 yards) and Rob Gronkowski (4 rec, 59 yards, TD) also pitched in for the Patriots today.  The Patriots finished up with 104 yards rushing on 36 carries (2.9 ypc) and they also completed 24 of 34 passes (70.6%) for 353 yards as they had possession of the ball for 32:43.

Forget all of the yards the Eagles got, a lot of them were in garbage time today.  CB Kyle Arrington led the way for the Patriots today with 10 tackles and 2 passes defensed.  CB Antwaun Molden (4 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) and LB Rob Ninkovich (3 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit) also had solid games for the Patriots today.  The Eagles finished up with 73 yards rushing on 17 carries (4.3 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 48 passes (54.2%) for 393 yards in this game.  The Patriots are now 8-3 on the season.

The New England Patriots had an easy time tonight with the Chiefs.  Tom Brady was solid in completing 15 of 27 passes for 234 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 2 times for 10 yards (5.0 ypc) last night.  BenJarvus Green-Ellis was tough with 20 carries for 81 yards (4.1 ypc) and 1 catch for 25 yards.  Rookie RB Shane Vereen got in during mop-up time and he carried the ball 8 times for 39 yards (4.9 ypc) with 1 TD run.  Danny Woodhead pitched in with 5 carries for 27 yards (5.4 ypc) and 2 catches for 28 yards (14.0 avg).  TEs Rob Gronkowski (4 rec, 96 yards, 2 TD grabs) and Aaron Hernandez (4 rec, 44 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Patriots in this game.  The Patriots finished up with 157 yards rushing on 35 carries (4.5 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 27 passes (55.6%) for 223 yards as they had possession of the ball for 28:30.  Julian Edelman pitched in with a 72-yard punt return for a TD for the Patriots last night.

The defense was pretty darn good for the Patriots last night.  LB Jared Mayo led the way for the Patriots last night with 11 tackles and 1 QB hit.  CB Antwaun Molden (7 tackles and 1 pass defensed), DE Andre Carter (7 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1/2 a sack, 1 pass defensed and 3 QB hits) and CB Kyle Arrington (5 tackles, 2 passes defensed and 2 interceptions that he returned for a combined 44 yards) also had big games for the Patriots.  CB Phillip Adams also pitched in with an interception.  The Chiefs finished up with 119 yards rushing on 26 carries (4.6 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 38 passes (65.8%) for 215 yards.  The Patriots are now 7-3 on the year.

New England Patriots 37, New York Jets 16

The Patriots flat out kicked the crap out of the Jets last night on their own field.  Tom Brady was electric last night as he completed 26 of 39 passes for 329 yards with 3 TD passes and 0 INTs.  Danny Woodhead led the way on the ground for the Patriots in this game with 38 yards rushing on 7 carries (5.4 ypc) and he also caught 1 pass for 6 yards.  TE Rob Gronkowski (8 rec, 113 yards, 2 TDs) and WR Deion Branch (5 rec, 58 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game for the Patriots last night.  WR Chad Ocho Cinco (2 rec, 65 yards), WR Wes Welker (6 rec, 46 yards) and TE Aaron Hernandez (4 rec, 41 yards) also had solid games for the Patriots against the Jets.  The Patriots finished up with 60 yards rushing on 28 carries (2.1 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 39 passes (66.7%) for 329 yards as they had possession of the ball for 30:07.

DE Andre Carter was flat out awesome last night for the Patriots as he had 6 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks and 8 QB hits.  LB Rob Ninkovich also had a monster game with 5 tackles, 2 passes defensed and 2 interceptions one of which he returned for a 12 yard TD.  Safety James Ihedigbo (7 tackles) and LB Niko Koutouvides (1 fumble recovery) also had solid games for the Patriots.  The Jets finished up with 110 yards rushing on 25 carries (4.4 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 39 passes (51.3%) for 268 yards in this game.  The Patriots are now back on top of the AFC East with a 6-4 record, one game ahead of the Jets and Bills.
